Gender Equality
We support the achievement of equality between women and men. Equality means one’s rights and opportunities do not depend on being male or female. It is essential to achieve gender equality to promote equal participation of women in economic, social and decision making processes. and therefore we need to address women’s views, interests and needs to shape the development agenda.
Only women can empower themselves and speak out on their own behalf. And we support women empowerment processes that increase their self-confidence, develop their self-reliance and help them set their own agendas.
Our purpose is:
To promote women’s equal participation in decision making to develop sustainable societies.
To promote women realize their full human rights
To promote gender equality to control resources and contribute to national, political, economic, social and cultural development.
